Resting on my bed in deep repose,
Enjoying the reveries of contented dreams.
I am subtly tugged awake,
By Revelation’s quiet arrival.
Like honey on a breeze,
Its sweet, delicate aroma drifts in,
Gently stirring my nostrils,
With its’ sea-like persistent waves.
Delighted through tired eyes,
I forsake my sleep,
Reach for my pen,
And turn senses into words.
